Elective Rotation: Spanish self-study

Contact: Serena Edwards

Location: Santa Rosa

I opted to use Elective Selective time to do self-study in Spanish. I used the book Medical Spanish: A Conversational Approach, which comes with an audio CD and was a very useful resource. I also purchased a 3-yr subscription to Rosetta Stone to use on my phone and home computer. My ES rotation was immediately before my EA, and I stacked my continuity clinic days so that I could leave early for my Spanish immersion trip to Costa Rica, which gave me several extra days in the country to practice Spanish.
