Gray Kelsey, MD, MPH
University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Gray grew up in New Hampshire and attended Dartmouth College, where she studied Art and Environmental Science. After graduating, she worked as an Outward Bound instructor, volunteered for an intimate partner violence hotline, and served as an EMT. Her interest in medicine led her to the Peace Corps, where she served as a health volunteer in Nicaragua, teaching sex education in local high schools, leading perinatal classes for expectant mothers, and organizing HIV education events. |
Upon returning to the U.S., she worked at Planned Parenthood in San Francisco while completing her post-baccalaureate studies at Mills College in Oakland, CA. She then earned her MD/MPH at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where her capstone focused on HPV knowledge and vaccination. During medical school, she mentored classmates through the Peer Support Network, served as the curriculum and advocacy representative for the OB/GYN Interest Group, and was President of Reproductive Health Advocates. Most recently, Gray completed a preliminary intern year in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado.
Gray is thrilled to return to Northern California and transition to Family Medicine at Sutter Santa Rosa. Her professional interests include labor and delivery, mental health, the mother-baby dyad, and reproductive justice. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, baking sourdough bread, wheel-throwing pottery, and trail running with her miniature poodle, Cumiche.
