The Medical Arts Project of Sonoma is an effort to bring together the local community of physicians to create and practice art in many forms. Their hope is to strengthen spirits and connections to each other. This project is hosted and developed by 3 Alumni from SRFMR Allison Bacon, MD, Class of 2011, Rachel Friedman, MD, Class of 2011, and Kari Harris, MD, Class of 2012.
They will be hosting a series of arts workshops for physicians led by physician artists across many disciplines. They will share with everyone how they have woven their art into their practice of medicine and how it has sustained them. The Medical Arts Project of Sonoma would love to see doctors across many specialties, medical systems and phases of their career join them. The SMLMA (Sonoma Mendocino Lake Medical Association) will be supporting the launch of their workshop series and are excited to offer their initial workshops free of charge for everyone. |
