Amy Marietta, M.D.
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine; Amy grew up in southern Illinois, with regular visits to her grandparents in rural Missouri. She discovered the magic of the Bay Area while in college at Stanford, worked for an affordable housing organization in Chile, and tried her hand at medical interpreting and grant writing for a Latino clinic in Washington, D.C., before she decided to go to medical school. While at UNC, Amy did her clinical rotations in the rural western part of the state, taught yoga classes in Spanish, and relished the charm of the South. She will miss biscuits and sweet tea but is thrilled to return to California to join the Santa Rosa crowd. Amy has clinical interests in Latino health, reproductive rights, community-based primary care, and curriculum development. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, yoga, reading, jogging, Latin American film, and cooking a good meal with friends.
