Danielle Wisniewski, M.D., M.P.H.
Tulane University School of Medicine; Danielle grew up in San Diego, California and eventually found her true home in the Bay Area during college. She studied international development at UC Berkeley, and after learning about the world’s problems, she decided her role in the solution would be through medicine. After college, she moved to Argentina and Bolivia where she learned to speak Spanish and developed an interest in tropical diseases, which inspired her to pursue an MPH in Tropical Medicine alongside her medical training at Tulane. While in New Orleans, she worked towards increasing access to healthcare for undocumented Latino immigrants. Her interests include immigrant health, women’s health, family planning, and addiction medicine. She also enjoys outdoor adventures, running, swimming, biking, cooking delicious meals with friends, and dancing to regeatton
