Kimberly Clinite, M.D.
University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine; Kim grew up as the daughter of a small-town family physician in Sonora, California, where she saw how family medicine plays an integral role in promoting and sustaining community health. After college she lived in South Dakota where she taught kindergarten on the Rosebud Indian reservation and came to appreciate how relationships build strong communities. Her experiences with the Lakota redoubled her commitment to strengthen communities through improving health care. While in medical school in Chicago she became interested in maternal child health, obstetrics, mental health, medical education, and health policy. She, her husband, and their son enjoy hiking, bicycling, reading, and listening to folk music.
