Margot Brown, M.D.
University of California, San Francisco; Margot was born and raised in Mendocino, California. She majored in Community Studies at UC Santa Cruz where she pursued her passion for social justice activism. After college, she served as an AmeriCorps volunteer and worked at a public health organization dedicated to preventing violence against women and children. During her tenure at the UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program, Margot completed a master’s thesis on nulliparous adolescent use of intrauterine contraception, and was a Medical Students for Choice chapter representative. Her professional interests include women’s health, adolescent medicine, and medical education. She enjoys hiking, camping, and being with family.
