Nicole Boltz, M.D.

Nicole was born and raised in the East Bay, and is so thrilled to return to Northern California to complete her residency training! Santa Rosa holds a special place in her heart, because it is where her great grandparents worked on an apple orchid! She attended UC Berkeley where she studied psychology, and then completed a post-baccalaureate for medical school at Mills College in Oakland, CA. During her time in Oakland, she was the clinic manager for Street Level Health Project, a grassroots organization providing free medical care through the lens of a whole person care model. Her strong passion for providing medical care to under-resourced populations, and well as advocacy for human rights flourished. She continued this during medical school at the University of Arizona, Tucson, where she graduated with distinction in Commitment to the Underserved and was heavily involved in advocacy. Moreover, she helped to start and then manage the Integrative Medicine Clinic for the underserved and graduated with distinction in Integrative Medicine. Clinically, her interests include women’s health, obstetrics, gender inclusive and affirmation care, family planning care, integrative medicine, whole person care and community medicine and inpatient medicine. In her free time, she loves to garden, be in nature, spend time with her dog, Luna, watercolor, eat anything with chocolate or be with her family and friends!
