She attended medical school on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. She immersed herself in a new culture and fell in love with the community. Although navigating life on the island presented many challenges, it was a life-changing experience that shaped her into a more compassionate and empathetic healthcare provider. Puerto Rico will always be her home away from home.
Outside of her passions for preventative medicine and health equity, she enjoys spending time with her Husband and 6lb chihuahua, Olive. Mica is always down to bake treats, paddleboard, visit coffee shops, or have a girls’ night out.
