While attending medical school at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), Kathleen discovered her love of Family Medicine because of the holistic, person-centered approach to care across practice settings, ages, organ systems, and social contexts. At OHSU, Kathleen held leadership roles in Medical Students for Choice, the Peer Support Program, and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Kathleen’s medical interests include pediatrics, maternity care, LGBTQ+ health, family planning, harm reduction, narrative medicine, and health justice. In her free time, Kathleen enjoys spending time outside hiking, paddle-boarding, camping, and gardening. When the weather is less amenable, she also enjoys cooking, reading, and playing board games.
