MissionThe Santa Rosa Integrative Family Medicine Fellowship program is committed to the training of physicians to deliver healing-oriented medicine that addresses the whole person -- mind, body, and soul -- incorporating evidence-based lifestyle, allopathic, and other therapeutic modalities for diverse and underserved populations.

About
This is both a teaching and learning fellowship, lasting 12-months. As a fellow, you will be part of the faculty for the Santa Rosa Family Practice Residency. A fellowship position at 1.0 FTE includes:
- 0.6 FTE Clinic time - A combination of continuity clinics, outpatient precepting shifts, CAM clinics, IM clinics, fellowship clinics and skills clinics in the Family Practice Center.
- 0.4 FTE Educational time - For research, project planning-implementation and learning, faculty development and meetings, administrative time.
- 20 days paid vacation
- 10 paid holidays
- Faculty inpatient medicine call (optional, but extra pay)
- OB call and inpatient medicine supervision may be possible
- Salary: Competitive PGY-4 salary
- CME: $12,000/yr
- Full faculty benefits: Health, dental, vision, disability, malpractice
- Orientation week: Late August
- Start date: September 1st of every year
How To Apply
Overall Application Process / Time line:
1. We accept applications from outside of the Santa Rosa Residency Program. You must have graduated or be about to graduate from an ACGME-approved Family Medicine residency program. A full California medical license is required before the start of fellowship.
2. For applicants outside of our residency program, we require a letter of support from 1) your residency program director, and 2) an additional letter of recommendation from a physician familiar with your clinical care of patients.
3. We accept applications starting November 1 and request a notification of intent by Dec 22 and the completed application by January 12, 2024.
4. Applicants will be invited for online interviews in December and January.
5. Final Decision will be given to candidates and announced mid-Feburary.
6. Targeted start date: September 1 of fellowship year.
