Integrative Medicine Fellowship

IM Faculty, current and past IM Fellows

Mission

The Santa Rosa Integrative Family Medicine Fellowship program is committed to the training of physicians to deliver healing-oriented medicine that addresses the whole person -- mind, body, and soul -- incorporating evidence-based lifestyle, allopathic, and other therapeutic modalities for diverse and underserved populations.

About

​This is both a teaching and learning fellowship, lasting 12-months. As a fellow, you will be part of the faculty for the Santa Rosa Family Practice Residency. A fellowship position at 1.0 FTE includes:
  • 0.6 FTE Clinic time - A combination of continuity clinics, outpatient precepting shifts, CAM clinics, IM clinics, fellowship clinics and skills clinics in the Family Practice Center.
  • 0.4 FTE Educational time - For research, project planning-implementation and learning, faculty development and meetings, administrative time.
Additional details:
  • 20 days paid vacation
  • 10 paid holidays
  • Faculty inpatient medicine call (optional, but extra pay)
  • OB call and inpatient medicine supervision may be possible
  • Salary: Competitive PGY-4 salary
  • CME: $12,000/yr
  • Full faculty benefits: Health, dental, vision, disability, malpractice
  • Orientation week: Late August
  • Start date: September 1st of every year

How To Apply

We accept applications from November 1st - December 7th for the fellowship year to start the subsequent September 1st. Interviews are typically held from late November - December with the goal completion of fellow selection by Jan 15th. Applicants must be a graduate of an ACGME-approved Family Medicine residency program, or a PGY-3 resident with anticipated graduation date of July 1st of the fellowship year. Outside applicants must also provide a letter of recommendation from the Program Director of their residency, and one additional letter of recommendation from a physician familiar with their care of patients.
