Sarah returned to Providence, RI to continue her medical education. Throughout medical school, she explored her interests in women’s health and reproductive justice. She led a research project investigating the impacts of the pandemic lockdown on local birthing demographics and outcomes. As a chapter leader for Med Students For Choice, Sarah worked with local organizations to help pass a Rhode Island state bill that mandates Medicaid cover abortion services. Her professional interests include serving vulnerable populations, women’s health, and obstetrics. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new hikes, and rooting for Bay Area sports teams (go Giants, Niners, and Warriors!).
